These 4 stars go directly to a young lady name Key who was working the register. And to the amazing music!! The ambiance is relaxed. She was so cool! I ended up getting fried scallops, lobster rolls sandwiches ( u get 2 per order), and a snapper fish basket ( I ordered one Lobster sandwich deconstructed so I can have for tomorrow and I ordered the fried Snapper plate for tomorrow LOL) The scallops had a very unusual aftertaste. I don't want to say rancid but they did not taste fresh. The lobster rolls were really small and the lobster came in small cut up pieces. The fries were really good and so are the hush puppies. The fried red snapper was good, they weren't thick pieces but they were cool. I would still definitely come back

My 87 mother is in town visiting from Nashville. We were looking for a Fish N Chips place as she had a hankering for fried fish. I Goggled Fish N Chips near me and found this place. Just saw it had over four stars, didn't read the reviews - we decided to go. Not expecting to find what we did. I figured it was a place a little higer-end than fast food. But it is a real deal Fish House! It took us 20 minutes from Summerlin. When we entered, the waitress with the purplish hair was taking the order of a table of four women. She was so nice. Politely directed us to the take out area. The ambiance was so "beachy" - we loved it. When she finished with the other table took our order. I was shocked that two baskets and a side of calamari was over $70. We sat and waited for our order. And waited. And waited. Almost 40 minutes later, our food arrived. The whole time, the three employees were working their butts off. My mom and I said to each other, "if the food tasted HALF as good as it smelled, we wouldn't mind waiting." AND IT WAS MORE THAN WORTH IT! We got our food. Thanked everyone and I made it back to Summerlin in less than 20 minutes. Couldn't wait to eat it. AMAZING! THE BEST FISH N CHIPS, SOFT SHELL CRAB AND JUMBO SHRIMP EVER! The seasoning on the calamari was amazing but it overpowered the calamari itself. No biggie tho! Our favorite new find! Thanks so much!

My husband was craving fish and chips so we located this restaurant on Yelp and decided to try it out based on reviews. I was a little skeptical when I first got there, but then I was wowed! I had the salmon, it was delicious. Very fresh tasting; had great flavor with a little kick to it. It came with a small side of delicious coleslaw and three small hush puppies that had great flavor. I also chose the sweet potato fries and they had a homemade seasoning on them that put them over the top! My husband had the fish and chips. He said they were good. The service was excellent. We were greeted by a young lady that we realized afterwards was actually leaving, as her shift was over. But she stopped to take care of us on her way out. The person that served us, I believe is the assistant general manager. She took really good care of us. we will definitely be back and we highly recommend!

I had a hankering for fish and chips the other day, so my wife & I came to Catchers for lunch on a weekday. It was just after 12 noon, so they had just opened and didn't have many customers in yet. After looking at the menu, we both got the Fish Basket, hers with the beer battered cod and hush puppies, while I chose the snapper and cole slaw (both orders had French fries). She also got a Peach "Arnold Palmer" (peach tea with lemonade), though I stuck with water. After a bit of a wait (which the server warned us about, since everything is fried to order), our food arrived. Everything was piping hot (except the cole slaw, or course). The fries had a good amount of seasoning on them, and were very tasty dipped in ketchup and hot sauce (both available at the tables). The breading on the fish was very crispy, with the snapper having a great thin texture, perfect to dip in tartar sauce. My wife enjoyed the cod and hush puppies, too. Overall, we had a wonderful meal. By the time we finished up, most of the tables were taken by other customers. Catchers must be doing something right, because we'll be back again soon!
